Operations Department  

TransWave Jamaica’s Operations Department is responsible for managing various administrative and financial tasks that are essential for the smooth operation of the organization. Within the department there are three key portfolios. These are the administrative portfolio, the finance portfolio and the resource mobilization portfolio.  

The administrative portfolio provides essential support services, including office management, correspondence handling, risk management and compliance, to ensure smooth daily operations and assist other departments in an organization. 

The finance portfolio manages financial activities such as budgeting, financial planning, procurement, accounting, financial reporting, and analysis. It ensures effective resource allocation, controls expenses, provides financial insights, and ensures compliance with regulations, contributing to the overall financial health and strategic decision-making of the organization. 

The resource mobilization portfolio in focuses on identifying, acquiring, and effectively utilizing resources to support the organization’s goals. It involves strategic planning, fundraising, partnership development, and resource allocation to drive growth, innovation, and sustainability. 

The Operations Department consists of 4 individuals: St. Courtnii BaRhone (Admin and Procurement Officer), Kaysen Barnes (Finance Officer), Shevoy Brown (Finance Manager) and Rohan Wallace (Associate Director of Operations and Project Development.
